Life is so interesting nowadays. Or maybe its just recently that i have come to realise how wonderful it is around me (:
Today, for the first time, my bio class was full of life. everyone was going abit too high (even mr lam was trying to be lame), and we started scandalising everyone with everyone else. and since we hardly know each other and since we are from different schools, we started talking about our wildest fantasies and about our ideal other half. And i promptly told everyone that i am going to marry ahem coz i like nerds and i find them hot. welll... and mr lam and i started going on nonstop about how attractive bill gates is (: AHHH. i cant resist nerds. seriously, i love intelligent men,they make me go nuts. (i shall stop myself from going on now. self control.)
Went to this lounge yesterday at Hyatt with SnR for high tea cum evaluation and that place was so posh! That i felt kinda out of place there,trying hard to be glam and all. Gareth too was trying too hard to fit into that high class envt (but honestly, i felt he was failing terribly. aww, but he is still that lovable sugar eating brother of mine.) And i kinda spent most of the afternoon laughing myself silly with gareth about hanky-panky stuff going on around us (hmms, i realise we just need to be a little bit more sensitive to SEE things. ahh, no wonder i have been pretty slow.), and with me interrogating him about his dates and all (tsktsk!) and of course, with me and xingyan trying our best to keep sugar away from him (that guy's a horse. he junks on sugar now that he swore off salt and msg.) And yes, let me go on about how good ALL the food there is. One of my fave was this prawn cocktail thing with melon and thousand-island dressing (or something similar). The prawn was just nicely cooked (slightly translucent still), soft and succulent ... superb. And besides that, there was banana crepe (which i personally didnt really like but it seemed like one of the hot faves there),chocolate fondue (unfortunately i was one of those rare breeds that hate choc), smoked salmon bun (yummy!), crab ball with this unique tasting dressing (i junked on this nonstop), almond tart with berries, mini sandwiches (that put the breakfasts that i eat at home to shame), STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE, mini sausage rolls ... and i shall not continue with the list any longer. I'm sparing a thought for those not lucky enough to savour it =P
