Just now as i sat on the couch, while gushing about how smart and how witty and how absolutely charming shikamaru is, a thought came to my mind. I realised how much my world revolved around men. Yes, men. As much as i refuse to admit it, i realise how important a role the male species play in my life. From the moment my dad's sperm contributed 23chromosomes, to my dearest brother (and ideal husband) and the rukawa kaede that i dream of every night.

Majority of my favourite singers are males- sky wu, jimmy lin, jackie cheung etc. And yes, almost every single moment of my life is spent thinking of a male. Be is Uchiha Sasuke, Rukawa Kaede, Hotaru, Ron Weasley (aka rupert grint without his current mane), harry potter (daniel radcliffe, his bod is so darn hot) or mr youknowwhobutitsinconvenientotsayhisname. Of course, i wouldnt deny that i took more than a 2nd glance at the cute ocbc roadshow promoter even though im not even of age to apply for a card.

And then, im forever on a lookout to gush at the newest hot guy (e.g. daniel radcliffe!) or cute boy-next-door (cedric diggory!). i wouldnt want to refute the fact that i really do enjoy the company of men- i run to my daddy when my mum screams at me; i seek solace in my brother when im so absolutely bored at home because the most interesting thing to do at home is to eavesdrop on my quarrelling neighbours; and then indulge myself in the sexy voices of those talented males out there while filling my mind with dreams of playing bball with rukawa or getting private one-on-one tennis lessons with tezuka.

And before condemning me as a psychotic despo, i believe i am very much less reliant on men than many other girls who used to decorate their math worksheets with scribbling such as "boys suck" and "girls rule". Oh come on darlings, do you REALLY think so? I doubt so. Coz while the poor me is sitting her typing this with a current status of "single", i bet most of them must be snoggling with their cute other half. Ahhh, where did their feminism go? I thought the very thought of men repulsed them? oh wells.

Ah yes, at least i only indulge in the company of men .. in my imagination.

But nope, too bad im not. Coz honeybuns is back. And i remain faithful to her all the time. :P And Yush might be coming back soon. What else do i need man? (:
