Its MAF tmr and im really looking forward to it. Its excitement coupled with nervousness and eagerness. Gosh, i cant believe that time has passed so fast, its seemed just like yesterday that i stepped into HC and ran for council with yush. Hope that MAF will be a success tmr (: and of course, i hope that i wont screw the council dance by tripping over other people, spinning till i fall flat on my face or forgetting moves and jumping when im not supposed to. The nervousness is killing me and i really really do hope nothing bad happens. Well, I guess its well known that i hate stages, i hate crowds, i hate dancing and i hate standing in front of crowds on a stage performing dance most of all. urgh, please bless me and make me not malu-ate myself in front of the whole school. i still have a reputation to maintain.

Work session today was pretty slack and we concentrated mainly on dancing and singing. Well, im so gonna mug dance and HC songs later. i'm determined not to embarrass council by screwing up and flopping the event. After all, everyone had put in their heart and soul and as kailing said, people dont acknowledge the efforts put in, they only see the product. How sad, but how true as well. It seems that there are countless "encouraging" quotes that tell people its not the results that matters but its the process. Wrong. Completely untrue. The scholarship board doesnt care if you mugged 10 times harder than some other guy and yet do worse. Judges dont care if you practised 50 hours more than the other contestant if you fall on your competition day or forget your routine. People think you did a great job if you can manage to sweet talk yourself a big project even though you might not have put in much effort. Ah wells, so moral of the story ... results does matter (so its time to start studying for promos!) ;)

Shucks i cant believe im getting distracted when im supposed to be mugging for promos. I need to have greater self discipline and self control. I have to stay focused and stick to what i said i'll do. Ive got to stop my mind from drifting. I need to stop living in dreams.

But gosh, its so damn hard.

Ive got to remind myself, it mind over heart dear. I need to get a grip on myself. oh damn.
