National Day celebrations today went relatively well. (: Considering that i was freaking out and trying to expend my nervous energy by jumping up and down, screaming the chorus of We Will Get There by Stefanie Sun at the top of my lungs, i think i was relatively calm on stage. of course, this would not have been possible without the wonderfully enthusiastic and supportive audience. It was really sucha pleasant surprise that people volunteered for the quiz segments! I was worried sick before that, wondering if the quiz would even work, i mean, considering the level of enthusiasm of HC students at such events. So all in all, think SNEC managed to pull it off once again despite our last min preparations ;) Congratulations SNEC, rock on man babes (and hunks la yeah ;) )! And it was so sweet and nice of weewee, calvin and daddy to come sing us praises. Although this might sound real ego, but their encouragement really meant alot esp when we thought that all our efforts have gone to waste. It was like a jab, a stimulant that gave us the energy to continue striving, working hard. Gee, and the success of the event really boosted the morale of the whole comm and made my day!

Witnessed the shaving of mr pang to raise funds for Project Destiny (to raise funds for cancer striken kids) and it really struck me how the method employed by nkf to garner support has subconsciously infiltrated us. We are imitating the antics employed by tt durai to raise funds, to achieve our aim and yet, at the same time, we are criticizing durai without acknowledging his contributions to nkf. This should be a reminder to me that people usu zoom in on your flaws rather than your contributions and positive points, hence highlighting the importance of having to maintain a facade and keep secrets from others as a precautionary measure, esp if you are too successful and high profile. The consequences of fame. sad but true.

Went to meet 7d to watch charlie at bugis (the cinema here really sucks coz the seats are on a levelled ground, meaning if the person in front of you is taller than you, you cant see anything except for his or her nest of hair). And the movie was amazing! seriously, its a must watch (: Shant incl spoilers in here, but its definitely worth your money.

Going out for a movie wth zp tmr to watch seven swords. and its disgusting that the cinemas in sgp has raised their rates to 9.50 on public hols and sun. its seriously daylight robbery. they must be making tons from this exorbitant amt. what has the world come to?
