thnks daphy for reposting up my ron pic once again.
just came back frm CIP camp and it was rather slack and quite fun actually. well maybe coz we were SMs and not GFs, but glad that i was an SM anyway coz i get to meet nice pple, play water bombs, get the kids to do chores for me by bribing them wth pts and slack ard for most of the camp.
1st day was actually de most tiring one i tink. but well, shant complain that much coz i had de slackest job of all along wth huien, serene and yuan. and ohya, mr-dao-kuanghan and nicholas. spent most of the time just sitting ard under the shade and falling aslp and den me and huien even walked to suntec frm kallang river for lunch. i was so hungry that i got reallie high when i stepped in suntec and looked like some overgrown kid jumping ard pointing at fd signs and running up escalator. imagine me jumping around like some overgrown kid and shouting and gestulating excitedly at sky gdn. as for huien, she was amused at how happy i was coz it was only as matter of mins ago that i was sulkin and complaining. we had pasta buffet at sky gdn and me and huien shared the buffet coz the girl that was reallie nice (maybe coz we looked so starved and despo) and so it was rather value for money considering the size and our appetites at that time. and before we left, we left the waitresses like about 60cents tips, isnt that generous of us? hah. den we finally made our way back to kallang and this time taking 10 mins less that the way to suntec coz we were more familiar wth the way thru the expressway.
unfortunately, by de time we reached, we were like slightly late and de kids were alredi there. butas usual, it took abt half hr or so to settle dem and by them all 6 frisbees SMs reached alredi. 1st sub camp that came was b- blazery, my personal fave. noticed quite a few potential basketball players frm this sub camp. de rest of the sub camps that came later werent all that gd but it wasnt boring either. met some guy who got punched in the nose by another and was bleeding profusely. yuan, serene, huien and i decided to give him extra 150 pts to compensate, and that indirectly leads to the morale of the story: to win, get urself whacked. de halfway thru, we like lost one of the red frisbees, so we told sub camp d to find it offering a reward of 150 points, and wad eventually happened was that everyone was looking for the frisbee instead of playing. heh, and that was not all. we like bribed the kids to help us SMs fill our water bottles for 50 pts each and also clear up the cones and equipment for us but offerin pts once again. smart ehs? and the 4 of us were like sitting under some shady tree and laughing away. how nice. oh, not to forget to mention that me and huien saw germaine and sarah at the time when the kids were not ard. so they like asking us if we were holding a p4 camp without kids. n yes, we looked rather loserified.
2nd day was much more fun, in my opinion. just had to man to station called h2o with nicholas and (damn it) kuanghan. ended suaning kuanghan and we had some type of crappy competition. coz nic was supposed to brief de kids abt the game (which was basically to collect as much water as possible frm the opp bucket and put it into theirs with whatever's on dem while bonus water bombs will be thrown down for the abv level) and me and kh were supposed to throw de water bombs frm the top. den i was like trying to tell kh that de bottom floor needs more help but that arse insisted on staying at the top. and not to forget to mention that he's an extra that volunteered his services (though i didnt ask for it). so both of us had some competition of whose team would collect more water. so i was like pouring down buckets of water with liane ( who came to help :) ). n obviously we won de first few matches. den after that john, yuan and another girl came. they started throwing down soap water bombs and alot of other bombs. so nic got pissed and they got chased away. *got confession to make: i threw an air bomb rite onto nic's head in front of the kids and malued him. and that got him pissed i tink.* after that we de last sub camp came, it started raining and we thought dat station games were cancelled so de grp of us rg girls along wth john, yuan and de girl (let me call her jan since i forgot her name) started having a water bomb fight. and unfortunately we got some of the tch's bks wet as well. we were trying to salvage this soggy post it by pressing it between tissue and then those who were unarmed started sticking themselves to de tch's cupboards and threatening de attacker wth the bks. it was when we finally finished playing when the rain stopped and the game resumed, the we realised that we wasted all the water bombs. so the grp of us we like making water bombs at sucha fast that im was rather sure we would at qualified with honours at the water bomb making institute. station games ended on a high note that day, had yet another water bomb fight ( managed to get the monk drenched ). another thing to note, i fell right on my butt and kicked huien which resulted in us rolling down the stairs.
had nite orientation after that. supposed to do it at the library wth yuhning and serene. was rather slack and fun there since there was a mama shop and starbucks nearby. we were playing cards until the kids came when we will hide all the cards and illegal items behind serene's cl file. john, alex and yuan came to join us later. gave the camp chief some excuse that they need to help us wth our station but obviously all they did was to play cards and do fd drill.
last day was as usual spent playing cards. prisc and her gang (liane, huien and yuhning) spent about forty five mins or so trying to determine the names they are going to use for the name game that they were playing. (some choices were lau chia kok, kok chia lau ... ) while de rest of us (brenna, june, john, jan * the girl whose name i dunnoe*, yuan and desmond) were playing pri sch games likes bluff and heart attack :). had another water bomb fight after that. we were planning to bomb to camp staff but it was unfortunately not successful. laft camp after that on a high note. it was SO FUN :D. hope that i get to go for another one of these nxt yr.
*sorry but i dont feel like writing it anymore. sitting in some rm wth prisc, erns, dj, xj, and belle* slacking ard and obviously ponning cl. but not that loo loo care.
