A End of Term Blabber

I havent been blogging for such a long time, and suddenly felt the impulse last night but was too tired to do so (having stayed up to the wee hours of the morning working on my silly CCA testimonial. a superficial piece of crap in my opinion.)

School ended on a beautiful note yesterday, at least thats what i felt. Though our celebration with ms tang might have looked rather superficial, but still her sakae sushi treat did manage to melt a couple of us. The wonders of the food and treats eh? But of course, it was ed's bday celeb that really made the difference. For once during this period of dull, stressful mugging for prelims, we finally found some time to come together and celebrate! Dont i just love celebrations (: And for some strange reason, everyone was a little on the high side. I was extremely so, maybe due to my lack of sleep the night before. But yes, it was beautiful because, all my irritation for mrs lee disappeared after she gave us those muesli bars (the ones that kayleigh’s dad would buy for us!) and somehow my disapproval (who am I to do so right?!) for tang kinda waned over the months, and I would suppose I kindof regret being mean to her. I wonder if it’s the sushi that’s making me feel guilty. And yes, ed’s cake was LOVELY, the rum inside that sticky coat of chocolate was just heavenly. Though I usually don’t like chocs (with the exception of dark ones), I admit I think I did gobble up 2 servings. And spent another one smashing into ed’s face =P

For a long long time, we might just remotely look like we have gone back to the innocent first 3 months, where we don’t know each other well enough not to dislike each other or bitch, and the undercurrents weren’t present, and everyone genuinely liked each other (or didn’t mind at least), and we had fun. In a way I suppose (because I don’t want to impose my sentiments on everybody). It’s a pity how some things have turned out after 2 years of being together as a class, but in a way, maybe its how the story was supposed to unfold, how some things weren’t fated to work out, how others blossomed, and how we grew and changed whether we liked it or not. And … the unspoken agreement about how things may be just a façade? I hope to think otherwise, but that would definitely be far too idealistic. But I still choose to believe that maybe it in this superficiality, that might still be remnants that we can truly cherish.

The end of official school term means the end of school days, in a way, because I think university would be very much different. Life from today till the end of the year would be pretty much solitary (at least in my case), prep-ing for exams and working hard for our dreams. But I’m grateful to those who have made my 2years so wonderful (on the whole) - be it those who have came and went, those we dropped by and left little marks, and those who stood by me.

And I swear I have no idea why im blabbering such emotional stuff, the very quality that I tease people for succumbing to. Now I kind of understand why Antonio loved to wallow in self- pity, it really is an indulgence to immerse in memories and daydreams.

Blubster seriously sucks. Ive spent god knows how long trying to remove it and it just refuses to budge and is still currently an irritating leech on my computer.

Woohoo (: cheegake calls this a draft draft (points down to the prom mag template). And im like alr completely impressed by her skills with the computer (my aptitude can be seen from my inability to change my template, despite all the ron pics dying. some kind soul can help coz yuhning who promised me to do so has died.)

The banes of technology. sighs.

It kinda segragates the world into 3 segments- computer guru, computer idiot and no computer. At least i havent been relegated to the lowest caste, but i might be soon if blubster continues leeching off me.

The weather today is lovely! An occasional breeze, the smell of an impending rain and the soothing light grey skies. I love it when its just about to rain.

down with flu

went down to toapayoh with yl today and i saw my cute little JORDAN!! and i kind of managed to coerce him to admit that he misses me and made him pose for a pic with me! :) and im kinda feeling abit high now from that. How nice would it be if i had him as my son and ahem as my hubby :)
Okay, maybe i should stop being self delusional -_-" haha.
But its kinda exhilarilating to be living in my own dreamland once in a while ehs? After all reality is so cruel (prelims is no more than 1 mth away and the state of my work is ... i cant even describe it), and its only in this fleeting moments of subconciousness when i get to really enjoy life ehs. Even if it means i dont have a life.

Chem experiments are exciting when you just play with the reagents the whole day, how i wished there werent any upcoming Alevels or prelims (which would probably vanish with the abolishment of the former).

And Yushan came to HC today, and it has been god knows how long since ive seen her and she really does look better now!! :) yups, old friend long time no see, so much to say, but so little time (i only had one block of break to catch up with her :( sobs) but then again, im so envious that she is able to widen her horizons and see the world now (i want to mope coz im slogging away), touring europe or doing volunteer work. I'm envious to the core!
But then again, i dont even know what i would like to achieve after jc, what course, what fac, what stream? I really have no idea. :)

Today is my lucky day,

CONGRATS to my XINYUBABE for her superb performance at JUDO finals :) ahaha. and congrats to the rj too as well i guess :)

I met the legendary 156 paedophile for the 1st time yesterday on my way home on 151 with wenxi and jiankai. And i never believed that anyone could be so queer, so wierd, and so blatant in his love for little boys till i met the Grand Master himself. And HORRORs, he was as wenxi described, smiling his way through with that sadistic toothy grin while this bunch of ri boys on the bus were making loud comments about the "gay" and snapping pictures blatantly, treating him like an alien (though he seems to be pretty much enjoying it). Errs, i would think this to be an example of andropausal (male version of menopause is it?) or a case of ... obsession with something uncommon. And this is one thing im suffering from, considering my increasing (and disturbing) obsession with ahem (im pretty sure that he's freaked and disgusted by me). But then again, its pretty hard for me not to show my emotions. HMMMs. ;) haha.

And i have decided to forgo my ocip thailand trip , after much considerations to choose prom and my family trip (to europe hopefully!) instead. and hopefully prom would be a magical night for me ... (:

Went to watch Thank You for Smoking with sharan and zhipeng after school (and caused zp to be late for his math S), and it was a wonderfully smart movie that left me pretty much in awe of the scriptwriter. Although i dont think i understood and appreciated the true essence of the 2 GP freaks by me, i was really glad i went for it. Intellectually stimulating and yet fun and not exhausting :)

Intelligence is an example of continuous variation and it can be affected by environmental factors. Okay, maybe i have been with too many silly people. I mean, my social circle involves either monks, violent rapists, lumps, bimbos and dumbos eh? :) ahaha.
